Together we are partnering with local communities to preserve and sustain eco-friendly living, playing, and growing spaces as a measure of conservation through native plant preservation, urban desert forest and public lands restoration, and encouraging xeriscaping with native plants one yard a time. See 'About Us' for more info!
Become part of the eco-friendly and sustainability movement by becoming familiar with your native plant's needs, habits, and recovery supports before, during, and after transplantation.
Join us in partnership! Converting your yard now helps our whole community thrive.
WE NEED YOU!
BE RESPONSIBLE.
By helping to preserve our native landscape, we are helping to preserve our biodiverse heritage and support an exceptional water-conserving way of life.
Water is a precious commodity that requires precision planning in order for longitudinally sustainable use. We specialize and promote the role native plants play in being well-adapted landscaping options while also advocating native plant preservation as a way to conserve water and sustain drought-tolerant native forests in the Southern Utah desert climate.
Let's utilize our native desert plants!
We believe being green without turf in the desert is a community effort, and support water saving measures that also preserve animal and plant biodiversities.
Following in nature's footsteps, we aim to cultivate colorful desert landscapes in our backyards, parks, and throughout our communities using education, providing access to native plant information, acquiring native plants themselves, and supporting an understanding of the water cycle in desert biomes.
"The biggest drawback to planting native plants as landscaping options is that the public overwaters them." Rick Heflebower, USU-Washington County Extension (Horticulture Extension Agent)
Native desert plantlife helps sustain our sensitive desert ecosystem's biodiversity. Alongside humans, many species of insect, arachnid, mammal, bird, and reptile rely on these desert plants in order to survive.
We are a L3C Low-Profit Liability Company and seeking PRI investments from foundation partners to help advocate the social change that our organization is pioneering.
Your long-term investment return helps offset our startup costs.
We love our native plant conservation partners. If you own or know of a development site that you'd like to have us remove native plants from, or you'd like to help volunteer in a plant removal or restoration project, send us a message!
We are flexible and offer virtual, in-person, or phone appointment options -- we know how busy life gets.

It is the Fourth of July, 2023. Our website is officially live, we are now registered with the State of Utah Chamber of Commerce as an LLC, and preparing to move in to our new office! We are so excited and looking forward to what the future holds. It's a feeling as precarious as some of our native plant transplants, though as the etiolation of our light changes to full sun, we are blooming and ready to rapidly grow Southern Utah parternships so look for announcements in the upcoming weeks!
